Villa Berceau is a small corner of paradise immersed in an oak wood, just a few kilometers away from the enchanting village of San Casciano dei Bagni and the beautiful Val d'Orcia, part of Unesco.

What used to be a country farm in the 1700's has been beautifully restored and re furbished by Patrizia the owner, who with the utmost care and love gave her heart and soul to this retreat that you can savour and enjoy to the fullest when staying here.

The rose garden, with lavender and rosemary bushes that frame the infinity pool (heated upon request from May to October) and small natural pergola's fully equiped for eating and relaxing outdoors in peace and quite only interrupted only by the birds singing.

The villa has 5 double bedrooms and a master Suite made up of one double bedroom, one twin bed room and a bathroom with shower.

The 5 double bedrooms are all with ensuite bathrooms (5 bathrooms with a shower and 1 with a bathtub) and are spread over two floors and, each one with unique furnishings made with the best quality local materials :

Bathrooms in Italian travertine, Italian designer taps, best quality bedlinen and curtains, memory mattresses and Italian designer pieces of furniture.

Ground floor:

dining room with direct access to the garden and a fully equipped kitchen, 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and shower, 1 Suite with a queensize bed and 1 twin bedded room and bathroom with shower, with direct access to the garden to the outdoor relax area, 1 small bathroom.

A large staircase in handmade Tuscan terracotta bricks leading up to the first floor which opens onto the living room with fireplace and onto a covered terrace overlooking the garden and the woods, 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

If breakfast is an important part of the day for you, Patrizia will make sure it will be unforgettable with fresh fruit, Italian salami, local hams, home baked cakes and fresh bread kneaded and baked by her at 5 am in the morning and then served whilst still hot and fragrant.

If then, after a day of visiting the Val d 'orcia, Siena, Florence, Pienza, Montalcino and other countless and wonderful villages and cities nearby or after a relaxing day spent in the splendid and exclusive Spas in the area, you wish to be further pampered, Francesco, the chef, will make sure of this: his menus are a triumph of homemade pasta and delicious main courses done exclusively for you.

Also, if you fancy, Francesco and Patrizia will be delighted to set up the kitchen table with flour and eggs and teach you how make your own home made pasta, learn how to knead and roll, then choose which type of pasta you want to make, whilst sipping a glass of wine, of course, in great company and the room filled with laughter and lightheartedness.

There is a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board (euro 10 per day if used daily)

Patrizia the owner, born and breed on a farm in Liguria, living her life to the full and taking advantage of everything that life offered her. She has always been a nature lover, but not only; she has worked with her husband as an entrepreneur with a staff of 44 people.

But later realized that her heart lay hand in hand with nature, getting to know new people and enjoying life to it's fullest.

So together with her husband, they decided to live a new adventure, they gave up their firm, the place where they were born, childhood friends and moved to Villa Vetrichina together with their children and started the fantastic renovation.

Vetrichina has become their new life style, a place where time almost stands still, leaving behind the chaos of everyday life and finding a completely new dimension, of peace, and time to enjoy life.

Her guests to her are like a new family each time round, and nothing gives her more pleasure than giving them her utmost where she likes to let them discover the enchanting simple life.
